Nicole is a Ph.D. student in the Horsley Lab, where she studies the molecular mechanisms regulating fibrosis and calcinosis in the skin. She earned her B.S. in Biology from UMass Amherst in 2021. Before starting at Yale, Nicole worked as a Research Associate in the Sankaran Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Broad Institute, where she helped develop base editor screens to investigate the effects of genetic variants in human hematopoietic stem cells.
